Soctrates (470-399BC)
was a Greek philosopher who had possibly the greatest influence
on European thought. He never lectured or instructed people, he
simply asked questions. With question after question he would draw
the truth out of people. He saw himself as a ‘midwife’
to the truth, his purpose being to aide its delivery. The term ‘philosopher’
means ‘to love wisdom’.
According to
Socrates that wisdom can be found within and can be accessed by
asking questions.
This book is unusual in that we have
provided only half of it, only the questions. You are the
other co-author who can contribute the other half, the answers.
